Tottenham Hotspur faces off against Manchester United in the Premier League at Old Trafford this afternoon.

Manchester United are coming off a 1–1 draw against Eredivisie side FC Twente in the Europa League. Christian Eriksen put United ahead in the first half, but Sam Lammers leveled the score late on to secure a point for Twente.

Prior to this European matchup, Erik Ten Hag's team couldn’t find the net in a 0–0 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. This was United's second draw of the season, leaving them 11th in the table with seven points.

Meanwhile, Tottenham secured all three points in their Europa League opener at home against Qarabağ FK. Despite Radu Drăgușin’s red card just seven minutes in, Spurs claimed a 3–0 win with goals from Brennan Johnson, Dominic Solanke, and Pape Matar Sarr. Tottenham's last Premier League game was a 3–1 victory over Brentford, with Solanke, Johnson, and James Maddison overturning Bryan Mbeumo’s opener.

Richarlison and Wilson Odobert will miss the trip to Old Trafford, with Richarlison recovering from a muscle injury expected to heal by late October and Odobert sidelined with a hamstring issue until mid-October. Tottenham head coach Ange Postecoglou has admitted that a late decision will be made on the fitness of captain Son Heung-min ahead of today’s trip to Old Trafford.

Leny Yoro remains out with a leg injury, while Tyrell Malacia is nearing a return after knee surgery last year. Manager Erik ten Hag said Malacia is working hard and progressing well, with hopes he’ll rejoin team training soon and be available for games in the near future. Luke Shaw and Victor Lindelöf are also expected to return from their respective calf and muscle injuries in early October.

Predicted lineup for Tottenham: Vicario; Porro, Romero, van de Ven, Udogie; Bentancur, Maddison, Kulusevski; Johnson, Solanke, Werner.

Predicted score: Manchester United 1-1 Tottenham
