Yves Bissouma and Timo Werner are expected to be available for Tottenham's Premier League clash with Brentford this weekend, though manager Ange Postecoglou expressed concern over Wilson Odobert's injury.

Odobert, the 18-year-old winger who joined Spurs from Burnley for £25 million last month, had quickly become a regular, starting in three of Tottenham’s first five games this season. However, he was forced off after just 18 minutes during Wednesday’s dramatic 2-1 Carabao Cup win against Coventry, clutching his hamstring before being replaced by match-winner Brennan Johnson.

Postecoglou admitted the injury "doesn't look good" and that Odobert will be sidelined for some time, though further assessments are still needed. “It’s his hamstring, and we’re waiting for more information, but he’ll definitely be out for a while,” he told reporters.

While Odobert faces time out, Bissouma is expected to return after missing last weekend’s north London derby loss to Arsenal and the midweek cup match due to an injury picked up on international duty with Mali. Werner, on loan from RB Leipzig, has also recovered from a knock sustained during his midweek performance.

“Bissouma trained today, so he should be available. Timo’s recovered too,” Postecoglou confirmed, adding that Bissouma is fit to start if needed.

Tottenham will still be without Richarlison, who remains sidelined with an injury sustained in training before the recent defeat to Newcastle. Postecoglou mentioned that the Brazilian forward is “a fair way off” from returning and won’t be training with the first team anytime soon.
