Tottenham boss Ange Postecoglou has been speaking to the media before Saturday's Premier League game against Everton

Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that both Dominic Solanke and Rodrigo Bentancur will miss Saturday's Premier League match against Everton.

In their first home game of the season, Solanke is sidelined due to an ankle injury he sustained in the season opener against Leicester, while Bentancur will be out as he follows concussion protocol after being stretchered off in Monday’s game following a collision.

However, Pedro Porro, who also left the field late in the game at Leicester, is fit to face Everton, and Yves Bissouma is back in the squad. Wilson Odobert is also available for selection.

In his pre-match press conference, Postecoglou explained: "Dominic picked up an injury in the last game. He finished the match but had a flare-up the next day, so he’ll miss tomorrow."

Regarding Bentancur, he said: "With any head injury, we need to be cautious. Rodrigo is doing well, passed all the tests, and feels fine, but we’ll make sure he's fully ready before he returns."

Postecoglou added: "It’s unfortunate for Rodrigo as he played well on Monday. Bissouma is available, and Pedro has trained this week, so there are no other concerns."
